Yangmingshan National Park, one of the eight national park in Taiwan is located in north of Beitou. This tourist spot was well known for collection of peaks in between Taipei City and Taipei County. Tonight we are going to Yangmingshan to bath our body in bubbling sulfurous hot spring water.

We stay in the Minsu or homestay near Shilin Night Market and we know we need a cab to bring us to Yangmingshan for night bath in hot spring.

The 2-way ticket trip charges was 280NTD for five person under the roof of Toyota Estima.

Hot Spring Bath In Taipei

No worry, no worry. There’s public and private hot spring bath in Yangmingshan Chang Tuang Hot Spring Resort.

You can choose either with no additional cost, so let’s head out for a bath in 60 degree Celsius hot spring water.

Remember to bring your own towel or else you need to pay extra to buy it.

So how much is the hot spring bath cost per person? The answer is free

Yes, you can get a free hot spring bath in Yangmingshan but under one condition as written in the entrance ticket.

The condition is each person needs to pay 400NTD for food and you need to top up any meal that exceed 400NTD. The meal taste after the hot spring bath is just average good and not great.

During our way back to our Shilin Minsu or homestay, the cab driver recommend us to go Ma Cao hot spring next time which was near to peak of Yangmingshan.

The hot spring we went was in the lowest point of Yangmingshan and tourist who don’t have any idea will be go there. Oh No, why you didn’t let us know earlier. LOL.

Anyway, Yangmingshan is famous for its cherry blossoms and hiking trails including Taiwan’s volcano Seven Star Mountain besides hot spring.

We didn’t have the chance to tour around the National Park this round. Let me know if there’s any other point of interest in Yangmingshan
