  • By on August 18, 2010 | No Comments

Our Bali tour continues with Pura Taman Ayun where the temple is located in Mengwi Village, about 18 kilometers north side of Denpasar town. In Balinese language, the temple is known as “Garden Temple In the Water”.

It’s quite a long hour drive from Lake Bratan before we reach to Taman Ayun temple in Mengwi.

For your information, the entrance fee to Taman Ayun temple in Mengwi is 3,000 Indonesia Rupiah per person.

    Pura Taman Ayun

The structure of the temple is quite similar to the one we saw in Pura Ulun Danu, Lake Bratan 😀

Except there’s real lot multi-roof shrines (merus) and pavilion dominating the area of Pura Taman Ayun.

Giraffe enjoy the scenery around the Taman Ayun temple with peaceful mind 😉

Some said Taman Ayun temple is one of the most beautiful temples in Bali. What say you?

You just need to spend around 30 minutes to explore the whole Taman Ayun Temple in Mengwi. No sweat.

Times up! Now we going to Uluwatu to catch the beautiful sunset in Bali with wild monkeys 😀
