Ta Prohm Temple, Siem Reap
What is the worth to visit temple in Angkor City for your photography shot? Ta Prohm temple could be the answer and the temple resides not far from Angkor Wat Temple.
After visiting Tonle Sap floating village in the first day, this is my second day visit in Siem Reap Travel and I have visited few temple before Ta Prohm temple.
Ta Prohm temple was constructed somewhere in 12th and 13th centuries, and you need around 1 hour to visit this temple.
Ta Prohm Temple Visit

One unique and special feature about Ta Prohm temple was the trees have grown intertwined among the ruins.
This special feature that differentiate the temple with others in Angkor and prompt for more visit.

45 degrees gigantic tree in the view and we are curious on how old is it?
The trees became the superstructure support of the Ta Prohm temple with their massive size that I bet you never seen before

But at the same time, the trees has the potential of becoming the agent of destruction if it felled off during the storm.
Ta Prohm Temple = Tomb Raider Temple

Beware, Lara Croft (played by Angelina Jolie) was here for the Tomb Raider shooting

Yes, the temple of Ta Prohm was used as a location in the film Tomb Raider back in year 2000.

Lots of folks believe the Ta Prohm temple stored the treasure of diamond, emerald, ruby and others.
But all the treasure was gone thanks to Lara Croft, kidding

Some immense feeling about the trees around Ta Prohm temple, looks beautiful in the evening

Lara Croft copycat in Tomb Raider Temple action!
This is the shooting scene where Lara Croft jump out flying with her two trademark gun pose pointing to the enemy
