Sunset At Bakheng Hill, Siem Reap

  • The second last day of Siem Reap Travel has reach to the end and our destination was Bakheng Hill. This hill was situated near to Angkor Wat and was popular as the sunset viewing point :D

You gotta be early and climbing to the top of the hill need at least 40 minutes walk ;)

One part you need to be extra careful was when ascending the step to the top of Bakheng Hill, the staircase was just enough for your feet to fit in horizontally.

You can guess from the picture, Bakheng Hill was crowded and full of people during the evening.

All the tourist swarm into the top of Bakheng Hill and imagine is hard to get a good spot to capture the sunset :)

If you think that you can see the sunset of Angkor Wat here, then you are very wrong just like me :D

Because the sunset position was in my front while Angkor Wat at the back, no way you can capture Angkor Wat sunset photo here.

Yoyo, I am going to watch the sunset with full of determination in Bakheng Hill ;)

How damn I wish for our official tour photographer to capture the sunset with CPL filter, but not sure she has one :D

We can see there’s a hot air balloon from here, some people might get the luxury service to fly up and watch the sunset.

Once the sun has set, all the people rushing down the Bakheng Hill like AE86 :D

I advise you to take your steps carefully here because once you slip then 44% gone liao.

That’s all I got for you in Bakheng Hill, jot it down in your itinerary though is better to watch sunset in the ocean ;)

I took some on the Bakheng Hill. Managed to get a good spot because I was up there at 4pm. There were no one up there when I reached the top of the hill. But later, as you experienced, the crowds came like you see in this photos.
