Siem Reap Escape
Cambodia will be my next escape
and Siem Reap will be our destination.Guys and girls, remember to remind me to pickup free Siem Reap Angkor Visitors Guide from our hotel/guesthouse. It contains lots of info on Siem Reap and Angkor including hotel/bar/restaurant/shop info, travel info, maps and etc.
Sure we have to do some homework before going Siem Reap
to make sure we doesn’t missed out any good place to visit. The reason most we go to Siem Reap is the Angkor Archaeological Park which has quite a number of beautiful modern Buddhist temples. Some basic attractive place we must go as well like Angkor Wat, Pub Street, War Museum, Cultural Village, Silk Farm and etc.
Angkor Wat (Angkor temple) is the central feature of the Angkor UNESCO World Heritage Site containing the magnificent remains of the Khmer civilization. Angkor Wat’s rising series of five towers culminates in an impressive central tower that symbolizes mythical Mount Meru. Thousands of feet of wall space are covered with intricate carving depicting scenes from Hindu mythology.
Angkor Wat Tomb
Angkor Wat Archaeological Park
Pub Street At Night
Cultural Village
War Muzeum
We have 5 days 4 night, so we have tons of time to go through every corner of Siem Reap

Some travel tips recommend by traveler:
1. As a huge number of scarred or maimed locals can attest, motorbikes – either as rider or passenger – are the least safe alternative. On a motorbike you are exposed to the worst consequences of the city’s bad drivers and appalling accident rate.
2. To obviate later disagreements, bargain a fare before you leave.
3. Sometimes the only English a driver knows is something like “Yes, no problem” – leading you to believe he knows where he is going when he does not. Make sure the driver knows where he is going before getting in/on.
4. Don’t leave bags or other goods exposed to snatchers on motorbikes.
Just can’t wait for the escape day to come
