You should go to Seven Star Lake where it is one of the best travel point of the day in Hualien. Seven Star Lake or known as Qi Xing Tan (七星潭) in Chinese has a beautiful scenery and strong sea breeze that amaze me upon arrival. There’s a few hotel on the beach facing the sea and it would be a paradise to stay there during vacation

Seven Star Lake was just around 20 minutes drive from our Min Su Homestay and we were lucky to met our Hualien driver transporter in chance.

We don’t need any map to know how to go Seven Star Lake, our driver Mr. Lee was the local people of Hualien and he knows every corner in the county

Hualien Seven Star Lake (七星潭)

My imagination of Seven Star Lake was a special lake like Sun Moon Lake but how come it is a deep blue sea in front of me?

Seven Star Lake is a crescent-shaped bay and the name was given because there are seven small lakes around the Seven Star Lake district.

Astounding beauty of the surrounding makes Seven Star Lake a special place to visit and I guess everyone will love this place with romantic high mountain and sea views

Just be prepare for the strong wind from the sea and high humidity along the beach if you are going to have picnic over there.

The wave from the sea was just too rough and I guess you better think twice before jumping into the sea because there might be great white shark around, no joke.

Perhaps you can wear the Waikiki beach wear and ready your surfing board to challenge the great white shark during the typhoon season.

The ocean you looking at right now is the magnificent Pacific Ocean and I am standing right here and listen the song from the ocean.

Besides taking a beautiful picture in Seven Star Lake, you can also plan for biking activity around as there’s good bike trail along the mountain and sea.

I checked out other people blog before and lots of visitor loves to visit Seven Star Lake in evening time.

Now I know the reason why. With the sun striking up sharp and hot on my face, I need a scarf too!
