The Mount Bromo tour continues in the hot afternoon and this round we will visit Sabana Tropical and Sea of Sand. Both of the spot is on the same way towards Lake Ranu Pane and Mount Semeru.

Our hotel in Bromo offers the motorcycle ride to Sea Of Sand with the charge of 100,000 Indonesia Rp per person.

While the ride to Madakaripura waterfall is 200,000 Indonesia Rp per person and it is located 30 minutes from hotel Cemara Indah.

Anyway, we met one of the local after the Mount Bromo tour and he offer to bring us to Sea Of Sand and Sabana Tropical for 75,000 Indonesia Rp per person.

That’s quite cheap and if you just need to add additional 75,000 Indonesia per person if you want to visit Lake Ranu Pane which is way more further from Bromo

Sea of Sand and Sabana Tropical

We are here at last on the Bromo Sea of Sand after 15 minutes high adrenaline ride on motorcycle.

Just imagine the motorcycle has to go through the thick volcano sand and slip to the left and right. Thrilling experience

You can have horse ride in Bromo Sea of Sand but we follow our heart and choose not to put our burden on the animals.

Sabana Tropical is just 20 minutes from Sea Of Sand and I really feel in love with Sabana with the beautiful scenery and landscape.

Imagine there’s no sound in Sabana Tropical and you can listen to the rhythm of wind flowing around you.

I can feel peace on my heart and the world is just beautiful

It would be amazing if we can stay in Sabana Tropical longer and it’s such a great place to escape from the city.

The whole journey on Sea of Sand and Sabana Tropical took us around 2 hours plus. Ouch~~~it’s time to go back and we never head to Lake Ranu Pane because it’s quite late for the day.
