Pulau Rawa Malaysia
Want to have beautiful escape to Pulau Rawa? The island which located next to Pulau Tioman in Malaysia has the smooth sand and crystal clear water from the South China Sea.
Our Pulau Rawa journey starts 6am in the morning and we drove around 5 hours from Klang – Ayer Hitam – Kluang – Mersing jetty by using the human map navigation

Quite lucky, we reach Mersing at 11.30am in the morning and there’s one ferry just about to depart from jetty to Pulau Tioman.
We bought two way boat transfer ticket for RM90 and the ferry drop us at Pulau Rawa after 45 minutes ride.
Jewel Island Of Malaysia
Take nothing but photographs. Leave nothing but footprints.
We set our foot on Pulau Rawa in the hot afternoon and we drop our bag in Alang’s Rawa Resort before running to the beach

You were left isolated in the island with no water-sport or diving activity in Pulau Rawa.
No worry, you still have the choice of snorkeling in the crystal clear water or play beach volleyball with new friends

Take a nap under the coconut tree, anyone?
It’s just cool to listen to Sing A Love Song For Me by Yamaguchi Yuko and hit by the sea breeze.
For private beach lover, Pulau Rawa is the best choice for you with less visitor during weekdays.
The best time to visit Pulau Rawa is during June and July. Sit down, relax and read some book will ya.
Standing in front of the beach facing the South China Sea, I have one message echo from my mind to all the people in the world from Pulau Rawa.
I wished the water will stay white-green-blue in color many years from now. Let’s preserve Pulau Rawa the world’s jewel together.

May 30, 2010 11:56 pmDear Hong,
It was an embarrassing experience where I intro a couple friend to visit this beautiful Rawa island for honeymoon. Ended up my friend was stranded in Mersing and got fly kite! As claimed the Atap Resort was hopeless, is the place really not welcoming Malaysian? I feel so bad but I tot it was so beautiful to share the info with friends. Sigh….

May 31, 2010 2:13 amYeah, is kind of hard to get the booking of the atap resort especially weekend (totally don’t ever think of as they always said it’s full). So if you would like to go during weekday, just keep calling and calling until they really remember you or even fed up with you and re-confirm before going.
I will not said is hopeless, but is some different way of they operate the resort and I must say the beach is still very nice
