So I guess you will be reaching Hualien at night and it's good to take some rest for the first day.Spend your 2nd day in Taroko National Park (http://www.ah-hong.com/travel/gorge-taroko-tour) and one day should be sufficient to visit all the famous spot in Taroko. Drop by Seven Star Lake (http://www.ah-hong.com/travel/seven-star-lake) and Qingshui Cliff (http://www.ah-hong.com/travel/qingshui-cliff) before heading to Taroko National Park, you shouldn't miss this as well :)We went to several places on the 3rd day and I just highly recommend Shihtiping to you (http://www.ah-hong.com/travel/shihtiping-hualien). It's quite far from Hualien city about approx 1 hour of driving if not mistaken. The checkout time in Ah Jie Minsu is around 12pm, but you can inform them if you plan to checkout a little bit late. We stay for 3 night in Ah Jie Minsu before this and you can trust them.P.S Remember to buy the train ticket back to Taipei a day before the departure date (http://www.ah-hong.com/travel/hualien-taipei-train)

Ciao Mario, travel by air from Singapore to Taipei and train to Hualien (http://www.ah-hong.com/travel/taipei-hualien) will need takes you around 10 hours ++. That time we hired Mr. Lee (speak Mandarin and Taiwanese) as our driver but he did a great job as the tour guide as well. I highly recommend Mr. Lee to be your driver when you reach Hualien.
