Jiufen Old Street

No doubt Jiufen old street is one of the best travel destination in northern Taipei. The atmosphere from this small town market and historical landmark is just way too classic and you shouldn’t miss any good snack here.

    How To Go Jiu Fen

So how to go to Jiufen (九份)? We took Keelung bus from Zhong Xiao Fu Xin MRT station and the journey is around 1 hour.

Get some sleep first and make sure your stomach is ready for some snack 😀

As we arrived in Jiufen, we found the village is next to the mountain and facing the sea.

We explore the old street and reach to this old Shengping Theater in the end. What’s the show for today?

Jiufen old street as the most prosperous shopping district is packed with people.

Hard to move around especially with my bloated stomach 😀

Whispering its golden past, Jiufen used to be the center of gold mining.

The entrance here lead us to a deep cave inside the heart of Jiufen. We tried to dig for gold but there’s no luck 😉

No gold no problem. The most important is we found lots of good food in the Jiufen old street market.

Our snack marathon craved 12 different snack in Jiufen. You may want to follow the crazy craving list before waving goodbye to Jiufen 😀
