If you are going to Hualien County (花莲) in Taiwan and looking for a driver to bring you around the county, then I advise you to hire Mr. Lee as the best among all.

The rate is NTD 2400 for Mr. Lee to bring us to Seven Star Lake (七星潭) – Qingshui Cliff (清水断崖) – Taroko National Park (太鲁阁) for the first day.

As for the second day, we went to Liyu Lake (鲤鱼潭) – Shou Feng Zhen Feng Ping Chun (寿丰镇丰坪村) – Shin Kong Chao Feng Ranch & Resort (新光兆丰农场) – Lin Tian Shan (林田山) – Shihtiping (石梯坪) which was longer distance from point to point and the rate is NTD 3500.

Tips here is you can try to negotiate with Mr. Lee on the second day rate, who knows you can get cheaper rate like NTD 2500-3000

The hiring rules is you can only sit in the car for 8 hours a day, no joke.

But Mr. Lee is real good fella, he drive for us for 11 hour in the first and the following day with no extra charge

This is Mr. Lee and I super duper highly recommend him as your driver. He speaks good Mandarin and Taiwan language and explain lots of story you never know.

I should say he is not only driver but a tour guide as well. He as the local people of Hualien know the rest of the history of the town

Not only he is honest, but he is generous too when offering Pomelo to us for free

Don’t be shock to see his car boot was fully stored with Pomelo and he got no problem in treating you all the citrus fruit

The drift action picture you seeing right now is on the way to Shihtiping (石梯坪) using the Dong Hai An (东海岸) sea route.

Mr. Lee real dedicated in driving us to the best spot in Hualien, Shihtiping (石梯坪) on time before the sunset.

You will realize he is another Takumi Fujiwara (藤原拓海) with good driving skills on the mountain S curve road especially in Taroko National Park (太鲁阁).
