Do you love Sichuan pepper cuisine? It’s winter season in Shanghai back then, my mind was looking for food to keep my body warm and found Spicy Hotpot restaurant in the end.

Well, Spicy Hotpot restaurant (蜀天上麻辣香锅) claims to offer new style Sichuan food. No comment bout’ this cause’ this is my first encounter with Sichuan food.

Let’s get burn with the spicy cuisine, shall we

The famous Spicy Hotpot (麻辣香锅) is not for the faint-hearted. Frankly, it’s too spicy until I can’t judge whether the taste is good or not

Anyway, you can save yourself from buying a new lipstick after craving Sichuan cuisine. LOL~

Chicken with Chili Pepper (歌乐山辣子鸡) for RMB26. My mouth is on fire guys, don’t ever pick anything in red color here.

The Mapo Tofu (麻婆豆腐) you see here is a popular Chinese dish from the Sichuan (Szechuan) province and price at RMB15. Looks like the bean curd is drowning in the red hot spicy oil.

We are quite satisfied with the spicy sensation in the Sichuan food. I wished good luck to my own stomach

Yong He Soy Milk King is one of the famous brand name that you can’t ignore for a breakfast before work in the city of China.

Known as Yong He Big King (永和大王) in Chinese, the famous breakfast orientated Soy Milk chain from Yong He, Taiwan.

I am not the fan of franchise food but the cold weather in Shanghai forced me to have a seat inside Yong He Big King

Wokay, a cup of hot soy milk is great for cold weather days. But I won’t shout out loud for the ordinary taste.

No fried breadstick or known as you tiao, but just a bowl of Kung Pow Chicken on the table.

Best to order when you are hungry and cold, but don’t expect much on the taste itself

Surprise, you can have six average taste of Xiao Long Bao for the price of RMB10.

I then realized I am in Shanghai and not Taipei after craving the Xiao Long Bao. Haha.

Well, Yong He Soy Milk from Taipei is still the best with great taste on both of their soy milk and fried breadstick
