Adopt To Save Terrapin
Today I am going to blog something green about our world. Do you know what is Terrapin? A Terrapin is an animal that splits its time between land and water. Usually terrapins live near the water, but they can survive in or out of the water.
Terrapin was a critical-endangered species but not protected yet in National Wildlife Act.
One of my blogger friend Pelf was an activist with a mission to save the turtle in Malaysia

Lately she was involved with the Adopt A Terrapin project where 100 of Terrapin was released in Setiu River on 09-09-09.
Adopt A Terrapin

So how does this adoption works? No worry, Pelf will not put Terrapin into a box and send the Terrapin via Pos Laju to your home and let you pet it

Instead Pelf and the fellow activist will release the Terrapin into the river.
But before that, these Terrapin will be equipped with microchip for the unique identification and monitoring

Mr. Malik and his Fisherman Friends said if he capture any adopted Terrapin, he will send back those Terrapin back to Turtle Conservation Center for processing.
Again no worry, the processing was measure the new weight, shell length and width of the Terrapin for research purpose

Free, free and free the Terrapin

Follow my way of BSR (Blogger Social Responsibility) and create awareness among our people on the Terrapin.
You can give a helping hand to save those Terrapin by adopting them

Or you can make the difference as well by blogging about the Adopt The Terrapin project

For more information of the Terrapin adoption, please surf to Support Us Turtle Conservation Center and you can can all the details. The process was real easy and I just sent the fund via online banking.
Though I just adopt as little as one terrapin, I hope my sharing today can create viral awareness to people who have love to nature in heart

I believe conservation should be a repetitive action so let’s save the Terrapin now, tomorrow and the future.
