Baby Alonso Portrait Photography
A good portrait photography has the ability to convey the emotion of one person. It’s quite challenging for photographer to place their shot on baby or little kid because they like to move around in hyperactive mode.
I am lucky to have Baby Alonso as my baby model and he knows when I am going to take picture of him.
Today I going to use F1.8 50mm prime lens by Sony to shoot on the Baby Alonso. Reason being is Baby Alonso’s eye got distracted by the flash light easily and I don’t want him to wear thick spec like me as he grow older

Let’s get started with Baby Alonso portrait photography

From Baby To Kid Alonso
The news kids on the block, Alonso is going 3 years old soon. His favourite song is 大哥 by Janice and he love pumpkin porridge for lunch

F1.8 50mm prime lens works good under low light environment and when you don’t have any strong flash gun on hand

Another good thing is when you have bigger aperture, you can fasten the shutter speed to balance up the exposure meter.
Faster shutter speed will eventually freeze the movement of Baby Alonso and avoid any blur caused by his physical movement.
In exchange, I used bigger aperture that creates a shallow depth of field which causes blur background while keeping the subject sharp.
Depth of field or also known as Bokeh is best to used when you have different color and exposure in the background.
Quite surprise to know the term Bokeh comes from the Japanese word boke which means “blur” or “haze”
