Warung Babi Guling Ibu Oka

  • By on August 16, 2010 | 2 Comments

Let’s head to Warung Babi Guling Ibu Oka in Ubud and taste their famous roasted sulking pig. The hawker stall is located near the Monkey Forest and just across the street from Royal Palace.

Though Warung Babi Guling Ibu Oka open around 11am, I advise all the food craver to book the seat as early as possible.

Even those ‘ang moh’ will queue up just to taste on the famous Babi Guling in Ubud.

    Famous Roasted Sulking Pig

The first order, Nasi Campur Babi Guling Spesial (Special Suckling Pig) for the price of 25,000 Indonesia Rupiah.

This is all in one platter of rice with pork meat, fried pork skin, pig intestines, gizzet, and vegetables 🙂

Nasi Campur Babi Guling Pisah (Different Suckling Pig) with the price of 40,000 Indonesia Rupiah.

No worry, there’s some vegetables as the side dishes of Babi Guling to balance up your diet 😀

I love the fried pork skin and the crispy fried pork meat in this Babi Guling platter.

Anyway, don’t expect any heavenly taste from the Babi Guling or else you will be disappointed.

Sort of special and I still encourage you to try it because you can’t find such dish in Malaysia 🙂

Ah~now I remember about Bah Kut Teh because there’s no Chinese tea on table. Just Tebs Tea and the taste is quite nice 🙂

P.S – Nyoman, Giraffe and I have the energy for the rest of the day after absorbing calories from Babi Guling.

Address – Ibu Oka Babi Guling, Jalan Suweta, Ubud Bali, Indonesia.
    Business Hours – Opens everyday from 11am – 2pm
