Gao Ren Guan (高人馆) was one of the restaurant famous and well known in serving Gao Zhou (高州) style dishes. The restaurant got its name from Gao Zhou, a place near Guang Dong China.

Gao Ren Guan has 2 branch, one is in Puchong Jaya and another one is in SS15 Subang Jaya

Gao Ren Guan 四大名菜

One of the four famous dishes, 高州黄金卜 was kind of dishes where pork and vegetables was stuffed into a deep fried ‘tou fu pok’.

You will love the soup as well, so make sure you mix stuffed ingredient ‘tou fu pok’ before your lips touch on it

Large bowl of 高州黄金卜 will cost you RM25 with 10 pcs of special ‘tou fu pok’ and I recommend you this

高州酿甘瓜 or Bitter Gourd stuffed with minced pork was another all time favourite.

Don’t worry, you are going to chew hard Bitter Gourd here. All these half split Bitter Gourd was steamed until it is soft enough for your lips and mouth

Whether you like Bitter Gourd or not, you gotta try these 6 pieces of healthy food for RM21

This is real good, braised pork or some call ‘Kao Bak’ in Hokkien comes with soft sliced yam

In the menu, the name of this dish was 家乡扣肉 and the large portion came with 8 pairs of braised pork and soft sliced yam for RM 28.

Two thumbs up and I recommend this 家乡扣肉 from the menu

The last of 4 famous dishes was steamed salted chicken (家乡咸鸡) and you guys should order this when eating in big group

Guess you can’t finish the whole chicken with 2-3 people on the table

Gao Ren Guan Extra Side Dishes

脆香南乳肉 or so called ‘Nam Yu Pork’ was one of the most recommended extra side dishes in Gao Ren Guan by me.

It started like this, I put the first piece in my mouth and start the crusty plus juicy chew.

I repeated the chew and start to pop more and more into my mouth until there’s nothing left anymore on the plate

Remember to order big plate for this ‘Nam Yu Pork’ and I bet you will love the chew

Hot and sour vegetables, I don’t know why I will remember back the sourness each time when looking back on the picture.

The vegetables texture was very smooth and imagine the accompanied hot and sour taste going to drop into your mouth…the taste shaken my body

For those girl who love sour and not sweet taste, hot and sour vegetables is definitely a choice for you

Fried squid with garlic, the taste is better than its look here cause I was busy eating right there and didn’t snap this dish properly

I recommend you to visit Gao Ren Guan in group of 8-10 people so you can try most of the unique variety dishes in picture.
