Xiao Liu La Mian Noodles
We travel from Hualien to Taipei and stop in the Taipei train station underground mall for La Mian noodle lunch. La Mian is a type of hand-made or hand-pulled Chinese noodle with different kind of recipe add on such as meat and vegetables.
The word La Mian (拉面), 拉 (lā) means to stretch or pull while 面 (miàn) means noodle.
The hand-making process involves taking a lump of dough and produce many strands of thin and long noodle by pulling it over and over again.
My stomach feel tired after travel from Hualien to Taipei and any food recipe will indulge my empty stomach at the moment.
And so we stop in front of the Xiao Liu Hand-Made La Mian (小六手工拉面) shop for hand-made noodle craving

Handmade La Mian Noodles
La Mian with deep fried pork chop with 130NTD price tag.
Frankly, the noodle taste was normal and what’s special is the pork chop where the taste was juicy and crispy fried

What’s the La Mian I like from Xiao Liu? It is with half meat & half tendon stewed beef for 170NTD per bowl.
The hand-pulled La Mian noodle texture was Q enough for anyone’s bite.
Another ingredient that shine in this bowl is the tendon stewed beef. Light beef taste and easy to chew tendon meat

Anyone knows where we can have tasty La Mian in Malaysia aside from Dragon-I restaurant?
