Ipoh Tofu Pudding
So after having dim sum in Ipoh, we continue our food hunt for the tofu pudding. Tofu pudding is a kind of chinese dessert which made by soft form of tofu with soya bean as sauce. If you eat this in Malacca, usually you will have Gula Melaka as topping.
But in Ipoh, the famous Ipoh Tofu Pudding was hunt at Funny Mountain shop. It was near the Foh San dim sum shop. Tofu pudding was pronounced as tau fu fah in Cantonese. Not Yu Fa ya
. You can also pronounce it as dou hua in Mandarin.Tauke…one dou hua please

This drink is good for the body after travelling in a very hot day.
The soya bean was fresh and the tofu pudding was soft. The texture of the tofu pudding was smooth. Again, legend says that the softness of tofu pudding in Ipoh was produced by the water mountain

Once you are drinking this soya bean curd, you can feel the smoothness and freshness of the soya bean smoothing down through your throat.

Just twist around the Ipoh Street where all the best stall lives and you will able find it
