Ipoh Old Town Kopitiam
Our 一路向北 (one road head north) trip continues and this time we end up in original Old Town Kopitiam. So this is where all the Old Town Kopitiam franchise begun…from all small coffee shop

Ipoh was famous with their White Coffee, and now you can find this Ipoh White Coffee brand in any hypermarket.
Old Town White Coffee…since 1958. Wahhh…a year after our Independence day only they open this shop one leh. So classic man…
We went to Ipoh Old Town White Cafe in bad timing, feels like is in RUSH HOUR…the whole kopitiam was packed with waiting customer

What I remember in this Old Town Kopitiam was the Nam Heong Egg Tart. The egg tart crust was just crispy for you to chew…jeng !!!
Plus the egg tart flavour was not too sweet or too plain, just ngam ngam for you to taste

Roti Bakar Satu !!! Some special of the Roti Bakar was they slice 1 layer of roti become 2…and then stick it back again after adding kaya and butter. Eating this Roti Bakar just give me classic feeling…I can’t say is very tasty because it is just a roti

If you are thirsty under the hot sun, I will recommend you to have a cold Old Town White Coffee.
I have tried both hot and cold Old Town White Coffee, and the cold wins in terms of the density taste of the coffee

Remember to have some Nam Heong Egg Tart with Old Town White Coffee…just perfect combination for your tea time
