Ipoh Bean Sprout Chicken
Late at night, our stomach feels blank again…let’s go to have dinner loh

Me and 一路向北 group want to hunt for Ipoh Bean Sprout Smooth Chicken (芽菜雞)

So we drive to hunt for the shop in Ipoh Street, which ended up rounding few times in Ipoh Street (some say we are trap in Bermuda Triangle) only found the shops.
Eh…how come got 2 shops with the similar name? One is Ong Kee and another is Onn Kee, and both shops is facing each other in 45 degress. Whoever stand in the middle also can feel the magnetic aura spread by this 2 shops.
Ah Hong: I can’t stand longer here…the aura is scary leh …
Giraffe: Which shops has the authentic bean sprout chicken?
EV: My Google search result return Onn Kee as the first result…let’s go
Thank god we have EV, she is our 一路向北 makan makan mastermind…
Ipoh Nga Choi Wat Kai !!! 2 things I can say is special…
One is the sauce is not the normal soy sauce we have in KL, the soy sauce was mix with sesame oil producing the best taste with chicken

Another thing is the chicken is real smooth…and hardly you can bite any hard chicken meat

Ipoh Bean Sprout is shorter and thicker, and you have a fresh crunch feeling as you chew it…
Legends say Ipoh Bean Sprout were special because it grows on the water from Ipoh mountain

Meat Ball…the feeling was just elastic with fresh meat smells

Try to order Hor Fun instead of rice…you will never regret it

So what happen next was 一路向北 group plans to eat Ipoh Wat Tan Hor (滑蛋河) as supper which was my 8th meal…

Too bad I was too tired and Ipoh Wat Tan Hor (滑蛋河) hunt was cancelled (Venice dream on eating it in sleep but I just have blank snore sleep)
Next time ya…we will go Ipoh again ya…just for Wat Tan Hor (滑蛋河)
