Hualien Night Market Snack

  • My first night in Hualien, Taiwan light up with the snack from the night market. One BBQ was the first food we hunt down the road and I gave two thumbs up for the unique taste. So for those who loves food like me, it is real worth to sketch a visit to Taiwan night market in your schedule :D

As what I know from Hualien Minsu owner, there’s two night market in Hualien and the one that I went that night was comparatively smaller than the other one. I forgot the name of the night market ;)

    Coffin Toast Special

The second snack we had was the coffin toast from 蒋家官财板 and the chef really put his heart in making this snack although it is just a simple toast.

This is my first time having coffin toast and at first I wonder how can someone gave such special name in food :D

Beneath the coffin lies the mushroom pork with vegetables which was served hot that cost us 40NTD . Love this one :)

Someone open the coffin curiously to check what is the ingredient inside. We got smoked chicken inside here that shines with the honey flavour for 40NTD :D

Overall the coffin toast was special and the taste was better than any toast I had before :D

This is the last drink I had in the night market tonight. Mango juice for 30NTD and frankly the taste couldn’t match with Dengkil Fruit Juice

What is the special one was the 25NTD tomato pineapple juice mixture although the taste was just average :)

One thing I found in Taiwan night market hawker, majority speak with friendly manner to the customer and they deliver the snack with heart :D

The snack attack for our first day in Taiwan ends with all our stomach overloaded.

Have a good sleep tonight and I will show you the beautiful sea view and mountain in Hualien tomorrow ;)
