  • By on October 3, 2009 | 5 Comments

Yap Eng or known as Yip Weng Bak Kut Teh was doubt as the inventor for Dry Bak Kut Teh in Klang. For people that crave soup based Bak Kut Teh for years might be wondering what is the special about this new cooking method.

This piece of Dry Bak Kut Teh can be located in Taman Sentosa, Klang which was near to the Police Station.

I saw a similar shop name in Bandar Puteri, Puchong and I wonder is it the branch from the original Klang shop.

Guess we need to register this Dry Bak Kut Teh as the invention from local people in Klang, Malaysia.

If not later people from neighborhood country will claim that Dry Bak Kut Teh comesΒ  or origin from their ‘food court’.

Ask us to go eat their original Bak Kut Teh? Never in my life I heard someone from Klang will travel down South across the border for Bak Kut Teh πŸ™‚

    Claypot Bak Kut Teh

I guess you can save your buck from Claypot Bak Kut Teh by Yip Weng because this are not the specialty.

Ask me about the taste? It just hit the average spot taste as ordinary brand of Claypot Bak Kut Teh.

Save your money from ordering this one unless you want to put some weight in your body πŸ˜€

Here comes the famous Dry Bak Kut Teh by Yip Weng. Simple and quite sticky dark sauce gluing the meat with the pot.

If you taste Dry Bak Kut Teh by Fei Kay, then you will know which one is better. I leave this answer to you πŸ™‚

You want to know the Dry Bak Kut Teh recipe and want to cook in your food court?

Drive across the border to Klang and discoverer it yourself, but don’t claim it belongs to you ok.
