  • By on March 20, 2010 | 4 Comments

Danshui Fisherman’s Wharf is a smaller city to the north of Taipei and today I am going to introduce the famous food from the shop name called Original Ah Gei Old Shop (正宗阿给老店).

You will find lots of restaurant serving the Ah Gei upon your arrival to Danshui Fisherman’s Wharf.

Don’t worry about that. Just walk until to Zhenli Street and you will find the Original Ah Gei Old Shop on the same row of A-Mam’s Plum Tea.

You should be able to view the sea from the shop and enjoy the rest of your meal 😉

    Beautiful Taste In Danshui

The dish you seeing now is Danshui Ah Gei (阿給), a deep fried tofu stuffed with crystal noodles and sealed with fish paste mixed with spicy sauce.

You must not miss out this special signature dish from Ah Gei in Danshui Fisherman’s Wharf.

Want to have some tasty bite? Try out Danshui Meat Ball (肉丸) and I bet you will not regret after craving the piece by piece out of it 😀

Danshui Fish Ball Soup (鱼丸汤) contains fish ball paste stuffed with meat and garlic served in a light broth.

Top notch in taste? Anway, this is the 3rd bowl of dish that I recommend you to taste it 🙂

One bowl of simple but good taste of the stir fried noodles (抄米粉).

Known as Chow Mein to the American, right? Each bowl of the dish above cost us 30NTD and it’s worth to try all of them 🙂

Let’s take a boat ride out to Danshui Fisherman’s Wharf (渔人码头) after this 😀

@jiaqi We walk around 10-15 minutes from Danshui MRT. Try to ask the local on the Danshui port where the shop is just facing the sea.
