Have you try the famous Fencihu lunch box before in Alishan Forest Railway Station? About half way up the Alishan Forest Railway stands Fencihu Station where you can buy famous local snacks such as the renowned lunch box and train cakes.

We didn’t go Alishan in Chiayi County, Taiwan to taste the famous Fencihu lunch box as the spot was not part of the route plan.

We bought the Fencihu lunch box with the package name Fencihu Railway Bento (奋起湖，铁路便当) from 7-11 in Taipei City instead.

You know, there’s real lot of snack selection when you step into 7-11 in Taipei City besides their warm greeting of welcome, 欢迎光临~.

Our backpack team runs out of budget after shopping for clothes and snack in Taipei yesterday night

Thus, we picked this 65NTD worth Fencihu lunch box as one of our budget meal before taking off to Gu Gong (故宫).

Veggies, deep fried pork cutlet and chicken drumstick was all good in fresh shape and I enjoyed the overall taste of the lunch box.

Remember, you must try the original Fencihu lunch box as a meal on train towards Alishan.
